Take a minute to smell the roses.

This week the weather was amazing and I was able to take a right to the local state park. I put about 120 miles on my bike. In this time I had a lot to to think about. A lot of personal life changes but one thing that hit me. 

We have travel to amazing places around And different states. When we are at those states you take in the beauty of the local area. Great example is when we visit Tennessee and the Smokey Mountains are an amazing view to look at. Riding this week in my local state lost in thought and enjoying the weather I was taken back by how truly beautiful the surrounding area is in my home state. 

This time or year the weather is cool, the leaves are changing. Everything really is beautiful, not sure if because I lived here for my whole life or not. I was really taken back about how beautiful this place really is. I am making plans for next year to really take in the local area and try and see it from a tourist perspective.

Get out there and take some time to smell the roses and really take in your local area. Stop at a over look, ride in a state park, ride around you local town and just take a minute to look at your area as a tourist might see it and i bet your will find something truly beautiful you have been over looking.
